11Fee waivers and scholarships

Scholarships are offered, and are assessed on the candidate’s academic profile, entrance test score and performance in the personal interview. A student can hold only one scholarship; scholarships are not combined unless explicitly approved. Decisions rest with the Admission Committee.

12Criteria and weightages for admission

Eligibility: A bachelor’s degree of at least three years, in any discipline, from a recognised university, with at least 50% aggregate marks or the equivalent CGPA (45% for SC and ST candidates). Final-year candidates may apply; their admission is provisional until they submit proof of graduation, on or before 31 October of the year of admission.
Route 1: A valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT.
Route 2: PRTF’s internal selection, for candidates without a valid national entrance score, weighted as below.

13Results of admission under management seats and vacant seats

PGDM: There is no management or state quota. Every seat is filled by the institute through the admission process in section 12, with the Admission Committee as the selection panel.
MBA (Agribusiness Management): As per AKTU and UPTAC policy norms.

Also part of the programme: A summer internship of 4 to 5 weeks after Term III; 2 weeks of industry-ready personality and interview training; two value-added certificate courses, in Terms II and V; MOOCs within the curriculum, supported by a MOOC coordinator.
Evaluation: Continuous evaluation in line with AICTE guidelines. Each course is marked out of 100: a mid-term examination (20), an end-term examination (40) and coursework set by the faculty member (40), such as quizzes, assignments, case analyses and presentations. Grades are awarded on a ten-point scale.
