DR. R. D. PANDEY, Ph.D.

Director and HOD

Dr. Rahul Dev Pandey is an alumnus of G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. He holds an M.Sc. in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding, both from GBPUAT, Pantnagar.

With over 22 years of distinguished experience in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors, Dr. Pandey has held leadership positions in globally renowned organizations, including Syngenta, Mahyco, Mahindra Agri Solutions, Bayer, and Tata Chemicals Limited. His extensive career spans more than 50 countries—such as South Korea, Spain, China, the United States, Taiwan, Nepal, Thailand, Chile, Italy, Turkey, and the Netherlands—offering him rich global insights into diverse agricultural systems and markets.

Dr. Devendra Kumar Gupta, Ph.D.

Dr. Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. He is a highly dynamic professional with around 25 years of experience, successfully leading new, independent, and challenging agricultural business projects. With expertise in spearheading various agribusiness activities such as marketing, production, processing, and quality control, he has demonstrated exceptional cross-functional skills in planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and resource optimization.

Dr. Hanish Kumar Sinha, Ph.D.

Dr. Hanish Kumar Sinha is an accomplished Agri-Business Researcher and Trainer specializing in commodity tracking, agri-warehousing, business forecasting, risk management, collateral finance, and trade facilitation. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Banaras Hindu University (2002) and has over 20 years of experience in the agriculture sector, including more than 9 years in commodity futures and over 11 years in agri-warehousing. A recognized Sigma Six Black Belt and skilled business analyst, he also has over 10 years of experience in teaching and training.

As Professor of Practice for Commodities at the National Institute of Securities Markets, an educational initiative by SEBI, Dr. Sinha developed an e-learning module for the Certificate Program in Commodity Warehousing Management (CPWM), which encompasses approximately 68 lectures on various aspects of the commodity warehousing industry. Additionally, he has designed and taught courses related to commodities at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and was instrumental in creating two critical courses in Agriculture Warehousing Management for Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour.

Dr. Mayank Jha, Ph.D.

Mayank Jha is an accomplished professional in information technology, management operations, and strategic consulting. With 12 years of experience as an industry expert, he has made significant contributions to leading companies such as HCL, Quess Corp Limited, and Sequoia Capital. Holding a postgraduate degree in Computer Applications, Mayank combines a strong academic foundation with practical expertise, ensuring his skills remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

His career highlights include enhancing operational efficiency, implementing innovative IT solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation within organizations. As a sought-after consultant, Mayank has provided valuable insights to industry leaders, including Google, KPMG, and ISTAR Skill Development, across various sectors such as IT, operations, and education. His ability to navigate complex business challenges has made him a key asset in driving success for his clients.

Mr. Sandeep Srivastava

Mr. Sandeep Srivastava holds advanced qualifications in Computer Science, including an MCA and an M.Tech. With 18 years of extensive professional experience, he has developed significant expertise in areas such as Networking and Artificial Intelligence. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Pathfinder Research and Training Foundation, where he combines his deep technical knowledge with a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of professionals. His expertise and dedication make him a valuable contributor to both academia and industry.
